clear space

Ode to the Tangerine

Slowly
peeling the outer shell
to discover
a world
of veins and
crystals frozen
in juice

Complicated
unexplained designs
woven of cells
mitochondria
golgi apparatus.

A world
orbiting
its own sun
still undiscovered by
scientists
full of instruments to
measure eternity
but lacking
a sense of taste.

And in the middle of the conjunction
of cells
suns and castles
in a single seed
are found
the mysteries
of infinite
space.

Oda a la Mandarina

Lentamente
abriendo la cáscara
para descubrir
un mundo
de venas y
cristales congeladas
en jugo.

Complicados
diseños inexplicados
tejido de células
mitocondria
aparatos golgi.

Un mundo
orbitando
su propia sol
que todavía no se han descubierto
científicos
llenos de instrumentos para
medir eteridad
pero faltando
un sentido de sabor.

Y en medio del conjunto
de células,
soles y castillos,
en una semilla
se encuentra
los misterios
del
espacio
infinito.
