The Keys

Melody Makers
Prisms of poise
Producers of harmony
Struck or stroked
By human hands
The keys

Grey-Black
Labeled
Quadrilaterals
pushed down
To make sense of
Chaos
By human hands
The keys

Pieces of Metal
Asymmetrical
irregular carvings
Unique
For one door
To be opened
By human hands
The keys

Twinkling smiles
Helping hands
Eye to eye
Energize
A grateful, kind smile
Reaching out from the heart
With human hands
The keys
