Finalist

A Wish

 

I cram the cool, sunrise

sweetness into my mouth

let the juice spatter out.

I wish it were this easy,

as easy as eating

an autumn orange, this easy

to wash out all the bitter stains.

As easy as eating an orange,

is what I wish.
