Untitled

On November 10
2002
My mom and I drove to downtown
Main Street
We passed St. Patrick’s Church
It’s 5:00 and night
In the headlights
The rain looked golden.
Outside the church
There were maybe 200 people
Under bunches of umbrellas
I think it was a baptism.
